Yesterday it was raining. As I was tootling along the on ramp from one freeway to the other, I got to watch the surreal vision of a car glidding in circles from one side of the freeway to the other. I took my foot off the gas and hit the hazard lights to warn the guy behind me with plenty of time to spare, but the woman in front of me plowed right into the spinner.

Both the guy who spun out and the woman who hit him seemed pretty okay. The woman was complaining of knee pain and the guy was out walking around despite his car looking something awful. (the woman's SUV didn't have any visible damage ;)

It was my first time calling 911, I checked the time when I'd been on hold for about a minute and a half, I'm guessing that I was on hold for a total of about 3-5 minutes before they picked up... not the greatest response time if this had been a life threatening emergency.
