I just signed up for community college classes starting in January. Originally I was just going to take one music related thing to qualify for that music association, but as it turns out one of the things I was hoping to get points for won't be counted, so I'm going to need to take more than one class/quarter to qualify... I think I might take two classes next quarter as well just in case.
Part of what I've overlooked in my original assessment of my status with the association was that they consider psych classes "related," and I therefore get credit for them.
So, although I only found one music class that I thought would probably be interesting and is at a good time for me (jazz piano! ;), I did find a psych class... "Child Devlopement: The Early Years."
Critical examination of human growth and development from conception to middle childhood with particular attention given to current theoretical and research perspectives.
A class likely to be useful for my short,
medium, and long term goals. Not bad ;)
